My Teaching Background

I have been playing guitar since I was 12 years old and teaching since 2005. I have experience playing, performing, and teaching several different styles, including rock/heavy metal styles, blues, jazz, country, and classical. I have a Bachelor of Musical Arts degree in classical guitar performance from Pacific Lutheran University, where I studied and performed in classical and jazz styles. I have also been a part of the local music scene, most recently playing lead guitar in the band Empire of Ashes based in Tacoma.
